Schedule:

Weekend rotation: Every other weekend No on-call requirements for travelers Expect to work 75% of holidays

Required Qualifications:

Active RN license Minimum 18 months recent PCU nursing experience BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Proficiency in critical care drip management (e.g., insulin, nitroglycerin, Cardene, amiodarone, heparin, blood products) Strong PCU skillset: cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach and chest tube management, IV starts, NGT placement, drain/tube care, and PCA pump proficiency Experience caring for patients with stroke, heart failure, chest pain, respiratory or GI illnesses, and more

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver safe, high-quality care to PCU/stepdown patients Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms directly Manage complex medication drips and perform a variety of advanced nursing interventions Collaborate with physicians, resource nurses, CNAs, and respiratory therapists Float as needed within the Union region and qualified facilities, with on-the-clock pay for intra-shift travel
