Working as an RN in a Med/Surg Telemetry environment here provides exposure to a mix of patient cases and collaborative team dynamics. You'll expand your expertise in stroke care as well as advanced cardiac and medical-surgical protocols, all while collaborating with supportive teams and experienced leadership. Each assignment brings fresh perspectives, allowing you to build your resume with hands-on exposure to modern EMR systems (Epic), innovative medication management technologies (Omnicell, Alaris), and advanced patient monitoring (Philips). Floating between multiple reputable facilities within the region further enriches your clinical experience by broadening your skill set and professional network.
Schedule/Hours:
Department orientation: 2 days plus NEO Floating as needed within the region (paid travel time during shifts) Scrub color: Navy Blue Free parking
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Proficiency in general Med/Tele skills (stroke assessments, chest tube management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, med drips, and more) Experience with Epic, Alaris pumps, Philips monitors, and
Omnicell Responsibilities:
Care for patients with diverse diagnoses, including stroke, COPD, chest pain, GI bleeds, and altered mental status Maintain safe patient ratios (1:5-1:6, may occasionally increase) Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary teams Float to facilities within the regional system as needed, based on departmental requirements
