Key Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in emergency nursing settings Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Strong knowledge of ER protocols, trauma response, and acute care best practices Excellent communication, critical thinking, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Rapidly assess patient needs and deliver evidence-based emergency care Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity level Initiate IVs, administer medications, and manage emergency medical interventions Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to support optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely patient records and charting Provide education and emotional support to patients and family members Respond effectively to crises and participate in code situations
