Up to 7 days of Requested Time Off (RTO) can be approved upfront. >z Key Responsibilities & Patient Mix You will provide high-quality care to an adult-only medical ICU population. Common diagnoses include Sepsis, DKA, Strokes, CIWA, respiratory/kidney/liver failure, GI bleeds, CHF, and COPD . Maintain and manage vented patients, trachs, chest tubes, and critical drips. Manage central lines, art lines, drains, and wound vacs. Interpret cardiac rhythms, initiate PIVs, and insert/maintain NG tubes. Actively draw unit labs (phlebotomy available 24/7 for assistance). for all charting and documentation.

Requirements Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of dedicated ICU experience.
Licensure:
Active North Carolina or Compact RN License.
Certifications:
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

Prior hands-on experience with

is required.
Radius Rule:
Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility (600 Hospital Drive, Monroe, NC 28112). =
Balanced 6-week schedules managed by the unit supervisor.
Weekend Rotation:
6 weekend shifts required per 6-week block (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday).
Holidays:
Expectation to cover 50% of holidays falling within the contract period.
On-Call:
None!
Floating:
Part of the standard rotation with permanent staff.
