Broughton Hospital, Morganton, NC Hourly pay rate: $55 on W2 / $60 on1099

AM Primary Skills:
  • Patient assessment, observation, and communication
Job Description:
  • Assess, observe, and speak with patients
  • Record medical history, symptoms, and current health details
  • Prepare patients for exams and treatments
  • Administer medications and monitor for side effects/reactions
  • Create, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with the medical team
  • Perform wound care (cleaning, bandaging)
  • Assist in medical procedures as needed
  • Operate and monitor medical equipment
  • Collect blood, urine, and other specimens for lab work
  • Educate patients and families on treatment and care plans
  • Supervise LPNs, vocational nurses, CNAs, and nursing students
Required Documents:
  • Updated Resume
  • Active RN Licence (NC Licence mandatory)
  • BLS Certification
COVID-19
Vaccination Card
  • Valid Driver's licence
  • Three professional references (from past managers/supervisors within the last 2 years)
  • Signed Criminal Background Consent Form
  • One year of Psychiatric Care experience needed.
