AM Primary Skills:
- Patient assessment, observation, and communication
Job Description:
- Assess, observe, and speak with patients
- Record medical history, symptoms, and current health details
- Prepare patients for exams and treatments
- Administer medications and monitor for side effects/reactions
- Create, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with the medical team
- Perform wound care (cleaning, bandaging)
- Assist in medical procedures as needed
- Operate and monitor medical equipment
- Collect blood, urine, and other specimens for lab work
- Educate patients and families on treatment and care plans
- Supervise LPNs, vocational nurses, CNAs, and nursing students
Required Documents:
- Updated Resume
- Active RN Licence (NC Licence mandatory)
- BLS Certification
COVID-19
Vaccination Card- Valid Driver's licence
- Three professional references (from past managers/supervisors within the last 2 years)
- Signed Criminal Background Consent Form
- One year of Psychiatric Care experience needed.
