Per Diem 2 Years of experience as an ER RN in a hospital setting is required. Responsibilities Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing. Current BLS from the American Heart Association (be sure to include the AHA logo and QR Code). Current ACLS and NIHSS certification required. PALS and/or trauma certifications may be required prior to first shift. Minimum of 2-years full-time experience as an ED RN (most recent experience within the last year). Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes. Strong ability to use independent, critical judgment in all aspects of patient care delivery. Competency in current emergency room evidence-based practices and protocols for STEMI, sepsis, stroke, and trauma care. Familiarity with conditions such as severe lacerations or burns, sports injuries, allergic reactions, and work-related injuries.
