Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist PRN (as needed) to join our team and provide exceptional inpatient pediatric care. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a vibrant hospital setting, ensuring the health and well-being of our youngest patients. As a Pediatric Hospitalist PRN, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care, manage acute pediatric conditions, and support families during their hospital stay. Responsibilities Provide inpatient pediatric medical care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for hospitalized children. Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes. Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine appropriate interventions. Manage acute pediatric conditions such as respiratory distress, infections, trauma, and chronic illnesses. Utilize Epic effectively for documentation, order entry, and communication. Support families through education on treatment plans and discharge instructions to promote recovery at home. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, HIPAA regulations, and clinical protocols. Experience Must be Board Certified in Pediatrics with significant experience. Prefer candidates with at least 2 years of experience as Pediatric Hospitalist. Clean background and NC licensure required.
