Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nursing Coordinator, a vital role dedicated to ensuring exceptional patient care and seamless clinical operations. In this energetic position, you will lead nursing teams across various departments, coordinate patient services, and facilitate communication between multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will drive quality improvement initiatives, optimize patient outcomes, and uphold the highest standards of nursing practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated nursing professional eager to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced hospital environment. Duties Oversee daily nursing operations within inpatient and outpatient settings, including medical-surgical unit and emergency departments. Coordinate patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, discharge planning, and diagnostic evaluations to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans. Manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate documentation of medical terminology and treatment details. Facilitate intake processes for emergency room visits, post-acute care transitions, and outpatient clinic appointments. Assist with nursing administrative call. Support infection control protocols and monitor compliance with hospital policies related to acute care, behavioral health, geriatrics, and managed care. Skills Proven experience in critical care environments such as ICU, Level I or Level II trauma centers, or emergency medicine settings. Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and patient assessment techniques. Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex discharge planning and post-acute care arrangements. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and patients. Familiarity with hospital records systems, diagnostic evaluation procedures, and outpatient clinic workflows. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for patient service and confidentiality.
