Location:

Butner, NC +

Contract Length:

13 weeks (with strong potential for extension) +

Shift:

7a-3:30p and 12:30p-9p +

Schedule:

Monday - Friday | 40 hours/week +

Compensation:

$50/hr (travel rate available) +

Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and more Expected Duties and Responsibilities Direct Patient Care + Conduct admission physical assessments for juveniles + Administer medications and treatments as prescribed + Monitor and document health status; respond to medical emergencies + Provide wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management Health Education & Counseling + Educate youth on health conditions, medication adherence, and preventive care + Offer guidance on hygiene, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices Medical Coordination + Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals on care plans + Maintain accurate medical records and assist with discharge summaries Emergency Response + Provide timely emergency medical care when needed Compliance & Safety + Follow infection control standards and facility safety protocols + Maintain compliance with state regulations and juvenile justice policies What We're Looking For +

Experience:

At least 1 year in correctional or behavioral health nursing (youth experience preferred) +

Licensure:

Active NC RN license or multistate compact license +

Skills:

Strong communication, empathy, and de-escalation abilities +
