Qualifications:
Active RN license, valid in North Carolina or compact state Minimum of 1 year experience in a telemetry unit required Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills Experience with cardiac monitoring and managing patients on telemetry Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for telemetry patients, reporting changes promptly Provide direct, compassionate nursing care while educating patients and families on treatment plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and adjust care plans Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation Uphold the highest standards for safety, infection control, and patient advocacy
