Yes Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

o Could see any patient not requiring mechanical ventilation•CHF, Dysrhythmia, Chest Pain work up, Stroke, Abdominal illnesses and infections, Respiratory illness, Diabetes, AKI/CKD, ETOH withdrawal, IVDA, etc.

1:4 is most common; could possibly go to 1:5 depending on acuity

Skills required: o Experience with traches, cardiac gtt experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, management of central lines Support within the
