1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Home Health position serving Cleveland, Gaston, and Rutherford Counties, requiring Homecare Homebase (HCHB) charting experience and a valid driver's license with proof of insurance. Details Home health setting serving patients across Cleveland, Gaston, and Rutherford Counties Adult patient population (18+) with diagnoses including wound care, heart failure, diabetes mellitus, and medication/disease management Common procedures include wound vacs, Pleurx drains, Foley and suprapubic catheter care, feeding tube management, peripheral IV and PICC/port access, and IV infusions Typical caseload is 6-7 weighted units per day (approx. 30/week), with approximately 2 admissions per day (weighted at 2.40 units each)

Homecare Homebase (HCHB) — experience required Schedule options include Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday (three 12-hr days) or four 10-hr shifts (Friday-Monday) Standard hours are 36 per week Weekend rotation required — candidate will work all weekends Holiday coverage is dependent on facility needs and discussed during interview No on-call or call-back responsibilities Floating is not required Requirements Active NC or compact RN license required Current BLS certification required Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance required Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; home health experience strongly preferred Homecare Homebase (HCHB) charting experience required OASIS documentation experience required Proficiency with wound vacs, wound care, PICC line dressing changes, port access, IV infusions, catheter insertion, and drain management Ability to drive at night Must have most recent experience within the last year Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN Additional Information Candidate must permanently reside more than 50 miles from the home unit — local candidates are not accepted Candidates who have worked a permanent position at any AHSE facility must be separated for at least 1 year before being considered First-time travelers are welcome if they have prior home health nursing experience Orientation includes general nursing orientation (NEO) plus 2 days of departmental orientation Supported by leadership, LPNs/CNAs, peers, and case management Hospice philosophy knowledge and infection control practices are expected Scrub color: Navy RTO requires manager approval
