Qualifications:
Active RN license, current and unencumbered At least 1 year of recent CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) nursing experience required Valid BLS and ACLS certifications Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving surgical setting
Key Responsibilities:
Provide top-tier nursing care during cardiovascular surgical procedures Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians Scrub and circulate for complex cardiovascular operations Meticulously document patient care and intraoperative events Ensure patient safety, utilizing evidence-based infection control and surgical best practices Educate and support patients and families, advocating for holistic care and positive surgical outcomes
