Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; flexible scheduling may be available based on assignment needs
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of North Carolina (or compact state) Minimum one year of recent experience in Med/Surg nursing Current BLS certification (required) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to adapt to changing environments and new healthcare teams
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to diverse patient populations in a Med/Surg setting Collaborate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions in compliance with facility protocols Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform necessary interventions as required Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions Uphold high standards for infection control and quality assurance
