Job Description

What We Offer Registered Nurses in the Float Pool are responsible for providing continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings. The Float Pool RN is part of a resource team that is assigned to varying units during their shift to ensure that patient care needs are met. These RNs possess the skills, competency and qualifications, as well as a requirement to work in several different clinical areas. This group shall be known as the Float Pool. These employees are a part of Patient Care Services.
What We're Looking For Education :
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. BSN.
Experience :
Two years, required. ICU/CCU experience required.
Licensure/Certification:
Current compact RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Additional Skills (preferred) : Specialty Certification, Chemo Certification, Non Violent Crisis Intervention, Triage Course, NRP. Why Choose Novant Health?
