Job Description

What We Offer Employer Solutions Registered Nurse -
PRN Location:
Winston-Salem, Charlotte, Salisbury, and Mocksville areas (onsite at employer-based clinics and community events). Travel reimbursement available for assignments outside of home unit.
Schedule:
PRN/as-needed - scheduling based on event coverage and clinic support needs. 8 hour shifts traditionally between 6:30am - 4:30pm. Occasional Saturdays required. Deliver Care Where Patients Work, Learn, and Live At Novant Health, our Employer Solutions team brings care directly to workplaces and communities through onsite wellness clinics and health events. As a PRN Registered Nurse in this role, you'll provide hands-on support for biometric screenings, vaccine events, occupational health services, and employer wellness initiatives across the greater Winston-Salem and Charlotte regions. This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys variety, flexibility, and community-focused care in nontraditional settings. While the position will initially support a client wellness clinic in Winston-Salem, the long-term focus of this role will center on event-based coverage throughout the region. What You'll Do Support employer wellness clinics and community health events Provide nursing coverage for biometric screening events, flu clinics, and vaccination events Assist with occupational health services and wellness initiatives Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection, including phlebotomy Conduct health screenings, vital signs, and patient assessments Support physicals and clinical documentation workflows Travel between event and clinic locations as needed to support patient demand and coverage needs Collaborate with providers, clinical leaders, and employer partners to deliver exceptional patient experiences What We're Looking For Occupational health experience, highly preferred. Phlebotomy experience, highly preferred. Triage experience, preferred.
Education :
High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Experience :
Two years clinical experience as RN, required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration :
Current RN license in appropriate state(s), required. Certified Occupational Health Nurse and/or other applicable certifications as required per corporate client contract, preferred. Additional Skills/Requirements required : Ability to successfully complete generic / specific skills validation and competency testing. May work with Workers Compensation and Employment on bringing employees back to work if included in corporate client contract. Why Choose Novant Health?
