Do you believe in the power of purpose? Our teams are dedicated to ensuring injured workers receive the care and advocacy they need to return to their lives and livelihoods safely and efficiently. The Impact You'll Make As a Field Case Manager, you are the critical link in the recovery process. You will use your clinical expertise and independent judgment to coordinate rehabilitation needs and advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of your clients.
Core Responsibilities:
Clinical Advocacy:
Independently assess injured workers' medical conditions and develop coordinated treatment plans with healthcare providers.
Care Coordination:
Attend medical appointments to ensure continuity of care and alignment with the treatment plan.
Collaborative Planning:
Partner with employers to implement job duty modifications based on medical restrictions and functional assessments.
Communication:
Serve as the primary liaison between injured workers, medical professionals, employers, and insurance representatives.
Education:
Interpret and explain medical instructions to injured workers to ensure understanding and compliance.
Reporting:
Prepare detailed monthly progress reports and document activities in accordance with company and regulatory standards. What You'll Need to
Succeed Licensure:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
Experience:
Prior experience in case management is required, with a strong preference for workers' compensation or occupational health backgrounds.
Certification:
Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification is strongly preferred.
Certification:
North Carolina Industrial Commission (NCIC) Registry of Workers' Compensation Rehabilitation Professionals.
Skills:
A strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical practices, and HIPAA regulations.
Judgment:
Demonstrated ability to exercise independent clinical judgment to impact case outcomes.
Language:
Multilingual proficiency is a plus but not required.
