Qualifications/ Skills:
Current RN license, without restrictions At least one year of recent experience as a Telemetry Registered Nurse BLS and ACLS certifications Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities Proficient communication and collaboration skills Adaptability to varied patient situations and facility protocols
Responsibilities:
Monitor cardiac and medical-surgical patients in the telemetry unit Accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols Champion patient-centered care and foster supportive patient and family education Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in patient records Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
