36 Hours Role Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psych Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality behavioral health care in an acute inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent de-escalation abilities, and experience working with psychiatric patients in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric patients Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans Monitor patient behavior and respond appropriately to crisis situations Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Utilize de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe environment Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation Support patient safety and therapeutic care initiatives Required Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification CHI Health Workplace Violence Prevention Certification Qualifications Acute/inpatient psychiatric or state hospital experience required Strong de-escalation and communication skills required Adolescent psychiatric experience preferred First-time travelers accepted Ability to work effectively in high-pressure behavioral health environments Education Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program Benefits Competitive weekly pay Housing stipend or assistance Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Life insurance Supportive and responsive staffing team Why Bismarck, ND?
