Overview Registered Nurse•Labor & Delivery (L&D) | Devils Lake, North Dakota, United States | Start 06/08/2026 | 13 weeks | $2,662•2,736 per week | Guaranteed 36 hours |

Setting:
Hospital travel assignment serving obstetric patients Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to obstetric patients in alignment with established policies and procedures. Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, and assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care as needed. Develop and implement a patient care plan based on assessments, addressing physical, psychological, social, educational, and rehabilitative needs; initiate discharge planning early. Assess pain, respond promptly, and escalate concerns according to standard operating procedures; identify early warning signs of patient condition changes. Document observations accurately; coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team; ensure timely referrals and complete incident reporting as required. Educate patients and families, provide anticipatory guidance, and support safe discharge planning and patient education related to recovery and potential red flags. Requirements Current RN license in North Dakota or a compact state; license active prior to start date. BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required prior to start date.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program; eligible to practice as an RN in the state.
Experience:
Obstetric/L&D or acute care nursing experience preferred; ability to work in a hospital setting. Ability to work a 3x12 rotating schedule, including day and night coverage; eligible for travel to Devils Lake, ND.
