Job Description

Where You'll Work CHI Williston Health, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed by the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, have a variety of skills from clinical to project management. In our Critical Access Hospital, you will be exposed to the emergency department, acute care (Med/Surg), swing bed, surgery, outpatient treatment, and so much more! Job Summary and Responsibilities Utilizes the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities of care through assessment, planning, and delegation of care based on patient needs, therapeutic interventions, and evaluation of the patient's response. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health Assesses antepartal, intrapartal, and postpartum patients for risk factors, normal progress, symptoms of problems, and continuously monitor; detect changes in symptoms, health or pain, and take action as necessary; and quickly and accurately assess patient care needs Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol Sets priorities in plan of care based on assessed needs and anticipates personnel, supplies, and equipment required to care for patients based on assessed needs Works collaboratively with provider to provide exceptional care Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures Provides patient and family education Job Requirements Required Associate Of Nursing, upon hire and
