[Full-Time/Part-Time] Position Summary Good Neighbor Community Health Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinic Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our team in Fremont. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we are committed to providing accessible, high-quality care to all patients, regardless of ability to pay. The Clinic Nurse provides professional nursing care including assessment, treatment, care planning, and evaluation in accordance with established standards and practices. This role serves as a key liaison between patients, providers, and care teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Essential Job Functions Obtain and document patient health histories, chief complaints, vital signs, and medication information, including refills and patient assistance programs Provide patient care in accordance with clinical guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state regulations Administer prescribed medications and treatments; monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses Delegate duties as permitted under the Nurse Practice Act Collaborate with providers, specialists, and community resources to address patient needs Accurately document patient assessments and interventions in electronic medical records Maintain and review patient charts, test results, and clinical documentation Respond to patient phone calls and triage care needs appropriately Assist with coordination and integration of care across healthcare services Manage inventory and documentation of sample medications, ensuring compliance with dispensing protocols Perform additional duties as assigned Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required) Required Qualifications Current Nebraska RN or LPN license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Knowledge of professional nursing practices, standards of care, and applicable regulations Understanding of medical record documentation and healthcare privacy laws Ability to calculate and administer medications accurately Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar systems Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and intellectual backgrounds Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, or physician's office Strong triage skills (in-person and telephone) Ability to respond effectively in crisis or emergency situations Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills preferred Supervision This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities Physical Requirements Occasional bending, lifting, stooping, and stretching Manual dexterity to operate office and clinical equipment Ability to lift up to 35 pounds Normal vision and hearing required Why Join Good Neighbor Community Health Center?
