Job Description
Operating Room Registered Nurse Must be willing to learn and perform scrub duties as part of the role Hastings Surgical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. If you enjoy starting your day early and having your afternoons free, this position offers an exceptional work-life balance in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center environment. Schedule Must be available between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM Typical work hours are between 5:45 AM and 2:00 PM Some days may run later depending on the surgical schedule No nights, weekends, or major holidays This is the perfect schedule for someone who prefers to start their day early and enjoy their afternoons with family, hobbies, appointments, or other activities. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting Circulate surgical procedures while maintaining patient safety and quality standards Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to ensure efficient patient care Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent procedures Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards Participate in maintaining a safe and efficient surgical environment Scrub surgical procedures as needed Qualifications Current Nebraska Registered Nurse license required Previous operating room experience preferred Scrubbing experience preferred Must be willing to learn and perform scrub duties as part of the role Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Current
