APRN / Nurse Practitioner - Nephrology | Dialysis Experience Preferred | Lincoln Nephrology & Hypertension, P.C. | Lincoln, NE | Full-Time Who We Are Lincoln Nephrology & Hypertension, P.C. is one of Nebraska's most respected nephrology practices, delivering specialized care to patients living with chronic kidney disease, end-stage kidney disease, hypertension, and related conditions. Our close-knit team of physicians, APRNs, and clinical staff is united by a shared commitment to exceptional, coordinated patient care — and we take pride in the relationships we build with our patients over time. The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced APRN / Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team as a true independent provider. In this role, you'll carry your own panel of patients across our outpatient clinic and dialysis units, managing complex nephrology cases alongside our physician partners. This is a meaningful, full-scope practice opportunity — not a support role. Dialysis experience is preferred but not required. What You'll Do Evaluate and manage patients with CKD, ESKD, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, anemia, and mineral bone disease Manage hemodialysis prescriptions and coordinate care with dialysis center staff. Prepare and educate patients approaching ESKD on modality selection and transition to renal replacement therapy Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies; prescribe and adjust medications Complete clinic and dialysis visit documentation in Epic EHR with independent billing Educate patients and families on disease management, dietary modifications, and medication adherence Collaborate with nephrologists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives What You Bring Active, unrestricted Nebraska RN and APRN licensure (required) MSN or DNP from an accredited program (required) National certification as FNP, ACNP, or specialty NP — ANCC or AANP (required) Dialysis / nephrology experience (p referred) Proficiency with Epic EHR and ability to bill independently under Medicare and insurance programs Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic reasoning, and patient communication skills What We Offer Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Single coverage health insurance (80% employer-paid premium), HSA with employer contribution, dental and vision (volunteer coverage), and flexible spending account 401(k) with 3% safe harbor employer contribution and profit sharing Generous PTO accrual Continuing education budget and support A collaborative, collegial practice environment where your clinical expertise is genuinely valued Ready to Apply?
