We are seeking a skilled and resourceful Prison Cleared Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic team within a prison mental health setting in Lincoln. This is a permanent full-time position with 37.5 hours per week, offering an hourly rate between £27.00 and £37.00. You'll be stepping into an exciting role that plays a pivotal part in delivering vital mental health services to individuals in custody. What you will do:
Undertake comprehensive mental health assessments, care planning, and evaluation for individuals in custody, including those under the Care Programme Approach (CPA). Conduct detailed risk assessments relating to self-harm, suicide, and risk to others, implementing appropriate management plans. Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and crisis response for acute mental health presentations. Administer and monitor medications in accordance with NMC standards and local policies. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, GPs, psychologists, substance misuse teams, and prison staff to coordinate care.
