Job Description

Schedule:
12-hour night shifts (18:30-06:30) 36 hours guaranteed per week Every other weekend required Minimum of 2 holidays during contract Blocked scheduling is generally unavailable unless weekends-onlyKey Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality care on a 40-bed Progressive Care Unit, averaging a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio Manage adult patients with cardiac, renal, and respiratory conditions, post-surgical or oncology needs Titrate and monitor critical drips: Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Insulin Interpret telemetry strips (competency required) Collaborate within a supportive interdisciplinary team, including nurse aids and techs Respond flexibly to floating requirements within MedSurg or ICU as neededQualifications:
Current RN license with at least 2 years of recent PCU experienceCertifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
(all required) Skilled in arterial line management and high-flow respiratory equipment Willingness to adapt to department protocols, including dress code (Navy Blue scrubs) and fingernail policy (no artificial nails) Strong communication skills, teamwork, and adaptability Must pass an open-book exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90% Driver's license must be provided to confirm eligibilityPerks and Benefits:
