Summary:
The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care . Ultimately responsible for documentation of interventions, outcomes, discharge plans, and patient/family education . Collaborates with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary health care team to provide continuity of care . The registered nurse is responsible for the supervision of and delegation of tasks to appropriate individuals within the clinic . Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate patient care and is accountable for the policies and procedures of the organization. Demonstrates ability to appropriately modify approach and procedures to meet needs of age/diversity of population served for the following age groups: Neonate (birth

  • 65 years) Geriatric (over 65 years) Incorporates cultural considerations in the provisions of care.
Knowledge of growth and developmental stages. Considers life changes/effects on health beliefs and behaviors. Provides necessary safety measures. Provides information and involves family/caregiver in decision making. Performs all responsibilities/duties required by Faith Health as defined in the scope of practice, to assure that the unique nature of the patient is addressed. This includes, but is not limited to , the age of the patient served . Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and adapt individualized treatment plans to meet the age-specific and cultural needs of patients. Provide education to patients and families, ensuring understanding and involving them in decision-making regarding care. Perform and document patient assessments, screenings, tests, procedures, and treatments in accordance with clinical standards and scope of practice. Assist physicians and providers during procedures, treatments, and follow-up care as directed. Coordinate patient care by scheduling procedures, obtaining prior authorizations, processing lab and imaging results, and providing timely call-backs or follow-up communication. Administer medications safely, including accurate dosage calculation and monitoring. Maintain accurate , timely , and compliant documentation in the patient health record. Support clinic operations by ordering supplies, maintaining equipment and instruments, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. Delegate and supervise appropriate aspects of patient care to support staff as needed. Provide patient triage, respond to inquiries, and facilitate communication between patients, families, and providers to maintain patient flow and quality of care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote continuity of care and positive patient outcomes. Hours will be dependent on patient census and workload. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, to include after-hours and weekends as necessary. EDUCATION
(Minimum Requirements for Position ) : Graduate of an accredited school of nursingrequired.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
: Required Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or temporary permitfrom the State of Nebraska required. Basic Life Support (BLS) obtained within one full monthfrom date of hire (Travelers-required upon hire) required.
Previous Experience Requirements:
EXPERIENCE
: Previous clinical experiencepreferred.
Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
SKILLS (If Applicable ) : Language Skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understandthe English language required.
KNOWLEDGE
(If Applicable ) : Patient rights, safety practices, infection control practicesand risk management principles required. Other Certifications/Requirements Required Current, valid driver's license issued in the state of legalr esidence required.
