Position:
Responsible for teaching nursing theory and clinical in the LPN and ADN programs at North Platte Community College. MPCC is looking for two individuals to deliver engaging curriculum with high standards of excellence within our well-respected nursing program. This program features a simulation lab and state-of-the-art facilities. Deadline for priority screening of applications will be May 26, 2026. Position begins on August 17, 2026.

Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county service area in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. MPCC consists of three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two located in North Platte, Nebraska. Additionally, there are community campus sites in Broken Bow, Imperial, Ogallala and Valentine with satellite classrooms located throughout the area. Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in nursing or master's degree in process. Must possess an unencumbered registered nurse license to practice nursing in Nebraska and have five years of nursing experience. Current experience with educational technologies including online instruction and Distance Learning. Experience with high-fidelity simulation preferred. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.
