1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ER Float to Acute Care position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring TNCC, trauma experience, and prior CAH ED background. Details Works in the Emergency Room with float responsibilities to Acute Care (Med Surg) as needed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting — a small facility where staff are expected to take on multiple roles Night shift, 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) 36 hours per week Required to work every 3rd weekend 13-week contract Charting via Allscripts EMR Must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips Requirements Active NE or Compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Prior trauma experience and CAH Emergency Department experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and
TNCC BSN
not required Allscripts EMR experience preferred Must be able to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently Strong communication skills and ability to maintain positive rapport with providers required Additional Information RN will float between the ER and Acute Care unit based on facility needs — flexibility and a willingness to wear multiple hats is essential Scrubs of any color or design are acceptable No orientation hours specified — candidates should be prepared to hit the ground running
