36 Hours per Week Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel contract assignment in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum process while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for labor and delivery patients. Monitor maternal and fetal health before, during, and after childbirth. Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed. Assist physicians and healthcare providers during labor, delivery, and emergency procedures. Educate patients and families regarding childbirth, postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care. Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Respond effectively to obstetric emergencies and changes in patient condition. Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and patient safety standards. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nebraska or Compact State License). Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred/required per facility. Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required. Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Pay:
$2,600.00 - $2,700.00 per week
