Schedule & Hours Night shifts (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM) 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week guaranteed Rotation includes every other weekend and a minimum of two holidays within your contract 1 day of unit-specific orientation Qualifications Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of recent stepdown (PCU) experience Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Competency in Arterial Lines and titration of drips (Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Insulin) Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips Valid driver's license for location verification Commitment to policy on fingernails (no artificial nails) Must pass an open-book exam with a score of 90% during orientation Key Responsibilities Provide care for adults with cardiac, vascular, respiratory, and post-procedural diagnoses Manage complex patient conditions, including dialysis, sepsis, stroke, renal failure, and more Troubleshoot high-flow respiratory equipment and collaborate with monitoring techs Float as needed to MedSurg or ICU units Emphasize patient experience, responsiveness, and communication about medications Perks and Advantages Tax-advantaged stipends and comprehensive travel support for an easy transition Premium compensation and healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage Access to 401(k) for your future financial security Exposure to culturally diverse patient populations, aiding both personal and professional growth Job stability within a respected healthcare system Embrace a rewarding journey both inside and outside of work.
