Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medication Administration Department. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely administration of medications while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards. You will collaborate closely with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Verify medication orders, dosages, and patient information to prevent errors Monitor patients for therapeutic responses and adverse reactions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) Educate patients and families on medications, side effects, and adherence Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to medication safety Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire Graduate of an accredited nursing program Minimum [1-2] years of nursing experience (medication administration or acute care preferred) Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication safety practices Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills Proficiency with EMR systems and medication administration technologies Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) - required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - preferred
