Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Travel Explore the dynamic healthcare landscape of Concord, NH, a city celebrated for its rich history, vibrant downtown, and proximity to the scenic beauty of New England. This travel assignment offers clinicians the unique chance to elevate their expertise while experiencing the cultural and recreational treasures of the region—from the nearby White Mountains to bustling local cafes and shops. By stepping into this Emergency Department, you'll encounter a fast-paced environment that broadens your professional perspective. Working alongside an experienced group of colleagues, you'll gain exposure to innovative patient care models and diverse approaches to leadership—an invaluable step in career advancement. During your downtime, New Hampshire's four-season adventures await—whether hiking, exploring lakes, or discovering historic landmarks.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour shifts (7a-7p / 7p-7a) Every other weekend required
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license, with at least 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, MOAB, TNCC
(required) Proven adaptability under pressure, excellent clinical assessment and communication skills Dependable, punctual, and a team-oriented mindset Strong understanding of medical terminology and EKG interpretation
Preferred Experience:
Additional years of ED practice highly regarded Demonstrated proficiency in EKG interpretation, trauma, and cardiopulmonary care
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive patient care for trauma, cardiac, stroke, and psychiatric cases Perform a range of urgent/emergent procedures: laceration repair, orthopedic interventions, U/S IV and IO insertions, EKGs, and rapid infusions Complete lab, x-ray, and medication protocols swiftly according to department guidelines Collaborate closely with EMS and multidisciplinary teams, maintaining rapid response for acute events Float to main ER as needed
