Qualifications:
Active RN license 1+ year recent experience in CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) nursing BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgeries, instrumentation, and sterile techniques Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
Responsibilities:
Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring high standards of care and patient advocacy Circulate and/or scrub in the CVOR, managing instruments, supplies, and patient safety Communicate proactively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff Maintain accurate documentation before, during, and after surgery Adhere to best safety practices, infection control protocols, and facility standards
