Job Description

at Dartmouth Health in Keene, New Hampshire, United States Job Description In partnership with the Director of Critical Care Services ( ICU /Telemetry) and the Medical Director of Critical Care, the Clinical Educator role models and advances the professional specialty practice of Critical Care Nursing. The Clinical Educator is responsible for providing overall organization and coordination of education and Quality Improvement activities within the department. Designs and conducts educational programs for Intensive Care and Telemetry. Develops and coordinates unit-based orientation programs. Position requires close contact with the Critical Care / Telemetry staff to meet ongoing educational needs to ensure staff competency. Maintains educational documentation on all training and in-service; promotes quality of care and patient safety programs. Collaborates with the Director to maintain staff competencies and meet current AACN and other applicable practice standards. Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing program. Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience. Prior teaching experience preferred. BSN or bachelor's degree with strong clinical experience required. Current NH RN license. CCRN completion within six months of hire.
