Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Cheshire Medical Center, Dartmouth Health Keene, New Hampshire Full-time Night and Part-time Day and Night Shifts are available. Depending on unit and shift some positions may be eligible for up to a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus. Under the general supervision of the Nursing Team Leader, Clinical Leader and/or the Department Director and under the general direction of the department physicians, you will perform as a member of the healthcare team to apply the nursing process when making nursing judgments and decisions specific to assessment, planning, implementation/delivery, and evaluation of patient care, and documenting relevant data and care processes. We work closely with the education department and the unit educator to ensure everyone is following evidence-based practice. Professional development opportunities abound in Kingsbury, including cardiac telemetry training, ACLS certification, as well as other professional certification support. You will also find several advancement opportunities, such as charge nurse training, preceptor training, and other leadership development courses. Excellent assessment, communication, interpersonal, and organizational/ time management skills as well as a demonstrated ability to work well as a member of a team and respond calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment and during a crisis and/or emergency are essential. Computer skills required. May be required to participate in evening, weekend and holiday coverage according to the needs of the department. Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of New Hampshire. New Grads welcome & encouraged to apply. Current certification in BLS required, ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
