$2,200 - $2,322 Weekly (Based on Experience) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care across both Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Medical-Surgical settings. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong critical thinking skills, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to care for patients with varying levels of acuity. The RN will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to critically ill, medical, and post-surgical patients. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Monitor and interpret patient conditions, recognizing and responding to changes in status. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and established protocols. Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when necessary. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record. Float between ICU and Medical-Surgical units based on patient care needs and staffing requirements. Support a safe, patient-centered environment while adhering to organizational policies and clinical standards. Required Qualifications Education Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program. Licensure & Certifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Required Experience Previous experience in Critical Care, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or Medical-Surgical nursing preferred. Ability to manage patients with varying levels of acuity. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills. Experience caring for post-surgical and medically complex patients preferred. Preferred Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations. Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities. Flexibility to work across multiple inpatient care settings. Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based patient care. Assignment Details Night Shift Assignment. 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week. Mixed-acuity inpatient environment. Float responsibilities between ICU and Medical-Surgical units required.
