Job Description

Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this summer by providing quality healthcare and support to students during their extended school year session. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in school nursing who is ready to make a positive difference in a vibrant educational setting. You will be working closely with elementary and high school students, ensuring their health needs are met during the summer program. The schedule offers defined dates and varied locations, creating a dynamic experience working in both elementary and high school environments.
Key Qualifications:
Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire Previous experience in a school nursing role preferred CPR/BLS certification required Exceptional communication and assessment skills Ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies Compassionate approach and strong rapport with children and adolescents
What You'll Do:
Administer direct nursing care for students during school hours as needed Monitor and manage student health plans and medical needs Dispense medications and provide treatments according to physician instructions Respond promptly to illness or injury, providing immediate care and making referrals as needed Collaborate with educators and parents to support student well-being Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
Schedule Information:
July 6-9, 8am-2pm at the high school July 14-18, 8am-2pm at both elementary and high school July 22-24, 8am-2pm at the high school July 28-32, 8am-2pm at the elementary school August 4-6, 8am-12pm at the elementary school Enjoy a focused, rewarding summer position where your skills and compassion can shine.
