Job Type:
Full-Time Seasonal Contract position 2 weeks of camp July 12-17 July 19-24 This is an overnight camp that would require the candidate to be onsite during all camp hours listed below.

Camp:
Located in the beautiful Green Mountains of New Hampshire, the Nike Green Mountain Running Camp offers high school cross country runners an outstanding learning and training experience including daily runs, afternoon training sessions, outstanding nationally recognized college coaches, and informative and engaging guest speakers. Green Mountain Running Camp is seeking a licensed healthcare practitioner to serve as our Camp Medical Practitioner for the summer season. This is a residential, overnight position supporting a dynamic community of teen runners (ages 13-17) during an immersive cross country and distance running camp experience.
Job Summary:
As Camp Medical Practitioner, you will be the primary healthcare provider on site, responsible for the health, safety, and well-being of campers and staff throughout the program. Given the athletic nature of our camp, you'll work closely with coaches and program staff to monitor camper health, manage sport-related injuries, and support the physical demands of a high-mileage training environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and treat common sport-related conditions, including blisters, shin splints, overuse injuries, heat-related illness, and general musculoskeletal complaints Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding camper health concerns Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with local EMS or hospital(s) as needed Conduct daily wellness check-ins and support camper hydration, nutrition, and injury prevention practices Be present during all camp programming/runs that are physical in nature Ensure compliance with New Hampshire state camp health regulations
Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a current, valid New Hampshire license as one of the following Medical Doctor (MD) Physician s Assistant (PA) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) Registered Nurse (RN); or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Experience in sports medicine, pediatrics, or adolescent health is strongly preferred. Prior camp nursing or residential program experience is a plus. #INDRECRUIT
