Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and advanced nursing skills such as colostomy care, tube feedings, and IV administration Participate in resident admissions, transfers, and discharges Assist with care plan development, including resident and family meetings Supervise LPNs, aides, and volunteers by delegating tasks and ensuring quality care; participate in performance management as appropriate Complete administrative duties such as appointment scheduling, maintaining adequate supplies, supporting QAPI, and survey readiness Promote teamwork, mutual respect, and clear communication Respond to incidents and participate in investigations as required Qualifications Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills Ability to problem-solve and work effectively under pressure Understanding of HIPAA and the importance of confidentiality Scheduling flexibility, including some weekends, holidays, and alternate hours as assigned Requirements Nursing degree from an accredited program Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire Current CPR certification Prior long-term care experience preferred Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 35lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach frequently Reasonable Accommodation Statement Consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the New Hampshire Law Against Discrimination (RSA 354-A), Cedar Healthcare Center provides reasonable accommodations to qualified applicants and employees with disabilities unless doing so would cause an undue hardship.
