Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding short-term contract role supporting student well-being and health this summer. This unique opportunity allows you to use your expertise as a School Registered Nurse during the Extended School Year (ESY) session across both high school and elementary levels.
Essential Experience & Skills:
Valid and active RN license in New Hampshire Prior experience in school-based nursing preferred Strong assessment, clinical, and health documentation skills Confident in communicating with students, parents, and staff Ability to adapt to varying schedules and student needs CPR and First Aid certification Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Scheduling Details:
July 6-9, 8 am-2 pm: High school campus July 14-18, 8 am-2 pm: Both elementary and high school campuses July 22-24, 8 am-2 pm: High school campus July 28-32, 8 am-2 pm: Elementary school campus August 4-6, 8 am-12 pm: Elementary school campus
What You'll Do:
Provide daily health care for students and staff Respond to medical emergencies and administer medications as prescribed Maintain accurate health records and documentation Support health-related accommodations and individual care plans for students with identified needs Act as a resource for students, families, and school personnel on wellness topics This position offers the ideal chance for RNs interested in a flexible, impactful contract assignment within a welcoming school environment.
