Job Description

IHP is looking to add a compassionate, caring, and talented Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to our team. We offer inpatient care in short-term and long-term hospitals, rehab facilities, post-acute care facilities, and skilled nursing facilities
Position:
Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
Location:
Masonic Village -
Philadelphia, PA Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 hr days, hours can be flexible
Call Schedule:
1 in 4 per month
Patient Load:
16 patients per day
Responsibilities:
Provide medical care to patients in post-acute care and long-term facilities, utilize EMR for notes
Qualifications:
Board-certified APP, NP, or PA 1 year of experience caring for the geriatric population and post-acute care is a plus

Physical Demands:
This physician/APP role requires stamina in fast-paced healthcare: prolonged standing/walking (8-12 hrs/shift); rapid emergency movement (sprints, crowds); lifting/carrying 25-50 lbs equipment; pushing/pulling 100 lbs (beds/carts) with aid; frequent bending/stooping/kneeling for care; constant reaching/fine motor skills (suturing/IVs); occasional climbing/balancing; tolerating stressors (temps, noise, fluids, hazards) during irregular shifts/on-call/infection risks accommodations for disabilities; varies by setting (clinic/ER).
