Schedules & coordinates Interventional Procedures according to the PMD' orders.

Essential Functions:

Assists physician during procedures. Does patient assessment and monitoring for pre-procedures with documentation? Does patient assessment intra-procedure? Assists a physician during the procedure. Provides post-clinical patient care and reevaluations as per specific procedure to include documentation and discharge instructions. Coordinates with other members of the healthcare team in the delivery of care for assigned patients. Assist in scheduling Interventional Procedures. Conducts patient education before the test performs follow-up when necessary. Provides post-clinical patient reevaluations as per specific procedure. Act as a resource person to other healthcare personnel on radiology patient care issues. Float to other procedural areas in the hospital, which include and are not limited to the Interventional Radiology, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Same Day Surgery, and/ or Endoscopy. Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of NJ.

Certifications required:

BLS (American Heart Association) Minimum Work Experience One year radiology experience preferred.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
