Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required BSN or MSN degree Experience working as an RN in a school setting preferred Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Effective communication with students, staff, and families Ability to work independently and collaboratively Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with school policies
Key Responsibilities:
Provide health assessments, first aid, and emergency care for students and staff Administer prescribed medications and monitor treatments as necessary Promote student wellness through health education and preventive care initiatives Maintain accurate, up-to-date health records for all students Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to support student needs Respond effectively to medical emergencies and implement care plans for chronic conditions Promote a safe and inclusive school environment This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the school day.
