Key Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric clinical settings preferred Familiarity with common childhood illnesses, medical conditions, and emergency protocols Strong organizational, assessment, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as a proactive member of a multidisciplinary team CPR and first aid certification required

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care for students with acute or chronic health needs Administer medications and provide medical treatments as prescribed Maintain accurate health records, documentation, and mandatory reporting Respond to health emergencies and coordinate care with parents and healthcare providers Educate students, families, and staff regarding health issues and wellness practices Support the school in developing and implementing individual health and emergency action plans Promote an inclusive and supportive environment for all students
