Key Responsibilities of RN:
Patient Assessment & Care Planning:
Conduct thorough patient assessments as an RN and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Specimen Collection & Processing:
Perform specimen collection and ensure proper handling and documentation, adhering to all clinical protocols.
Medical Documentation:
Accurately document patient information and medical histories as an RN , using electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Athenahealth, while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Triage & Prioritization:
As an RN , provide triage services to assess and prioritize patient needs in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Treatment Administration:
Administer treatments and medications as prescribed, including specialized procedures such as gastric lavage when needed, under the responsibility of the RN .
Collaborative Care:
Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver integrated care, particularly in internal medicine and behavioral health contexts, where your role as an RN is crucial.
Patient & Family Education:
As an RN , educate patients and their families about health management, preventive measures, and post-care instructions.
Qualifications:
Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Previous experience as an RN in outpatient care , internal medicine , or behavioral health is preferred Familiarity with specimen collection techniques and processing Strong understanding of medical terminology and its clinical applications Experience with triage processes and patient management as an RN is highly desirable Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care Why us?
