  • 7:15 AM 3 x 12-hour shifts per week Every other weekend required
Compensation:
$1,800
  • $1,930/week (Local candidates) $2,000
  • $2,380/week (Traveler candidates) Overview We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Behavioral Health to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an inpatient setting.
The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans Collaborate with all members of the interdisciplinary treatment team Perform nursing admission assessments, identifying patient strengths, needs, and problems while considering age, culture, disability, and religion Administer medications and treatments in accordance with policies and procedures; monitor and document patient responses Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning conferences and contribute to achieving patient care goals Ensure patient care aligns with established treatment plans and standards Follow hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and professional nursing standards Assess patient and family learning needs, readiness, and barriers to education Provide age-appropriate patient and family education and document outcomes Deliver educational materials tailored to patient needs, considering cultural and educational factors Support performance improvement (PI) initiatives through data collection and participation in unit-based activities Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care needs License & Certification Requirements Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state compact license BLS (Basic Life Support)
