As Needed RN Elite Caring Adult Medical Daycenter Ewing, NJ Job Details PRN $48 - $50 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Nursing Teamwork Vital signs RN License Full Job Description Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an As Needed Registered Nurse (RN), where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in a clinical setting (Medical Day Center). This flexible role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in our community health program. As an integral part of our team, you will deliver compassionate nursing services tailored to individual patient needs while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Your skills will help ensure seamless patient assessments, effective treatment administration, and comprehensive documentation—all while enjoying the variety and flexibility this role provides. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine immediate care needs. Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols, including IV infusions and injection administration. Support the CNA and CHHA is duties. Document all patient interactions meticulously. Reaching out to POA or Primary Care team as needed. Conduct diagnostic evaluations for need to call 911. Assist with emergency responses including paperwork, calls, and follow up. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on long-term care coordination for patients with complex needs such as dementia care or behavioral health issues. Provide specialized nursing services for populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, neonatal ventilator patients, or individuals with developmental disabilities. Maintain infection control standards and adhere to OSHA guidelines during all patient care activities. Skills Proven experience in diverse clinical settings such Day Center or Assisted Living. Strong knowledge of medical and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Skilled in working with MCO's and Insurance paperwork. Experience working with specialized populations such as those requiring hospice & palliative medicine or Alzheimer's/dementia care. Ability to perform physical examinations and patient assessments across age groups- mostly seniors. Familiarity with infection control practices and OSHA standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams and with patients' families. Knowledge of Workers' Compensation law related to occupational health cases is a plus.
