Outpatient Responsibilities:

Provide advanced oncologic nursing assessment and documentation Perform inpatient hospital rounding as per the provided schedule Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic treatments and non-pharmacologic modalities Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to the patient's disease-specific needs Monitor the effectiveness of interventions prescribed Facilitate the patient's transition within and between healthcare settings Provide education to patients, families, and significant others Act as an information resource to students, healthcare professionals, patients, and the public Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals

Qualifications:

Nurse Practitioner (NP) license for the state of New Jersey Oncology experience and/or

ONS/ONCC
