Fair Lawn, NJ A premier home health agency is seeking a dedicated, clinical-minded Nurse Supervisor (RN) to join their team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care, implement prescribed medical treatments, and assess client needs within a home or assisted living environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN looking for a impactful part-time leadership position that balances direct clinical care with care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and document clients' biophysical, psychosocial, and educational needs. Deliver preventative, supportive, and restorative care in accordance with established standards of practice. Competently administer and document prescribed medications and perform all clinical treatments per the Physician's Plan of Care. Coordinate scheduling for clients' multidisciplinary appointments and therapies. Effectively manage time to maintain a consistent level of productivity nterpret health status implications for clients and their families. Promptly report any significant changes in a client's condition to the Director of Nursing and the attending physician Strictly adhere to standard precautions, aseptic techniques, infection control guidelines, and HIPAA regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients, families, and staff Maintain complete and timely client records and timecards. Demonstrate sound clinical judgment, a professional demeanor, and active participation in quality improvement activities Reports to
Director of Nursing Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing issued by the New Jersey Board of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a related health field from an accredited college, alongside 2 years of professional RN experience in community health and/or home health settings Proven experience providing nursing services within a patient's home environment, inclusive of assisted living facilities A valid driver's license and a valid auto insurance policy with required liability coverage Ability to effectively communicate with clients and co-workers in English, demonstrate strong stress-management skills, and exhibit physical capability for tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing
